Currently in Constanza figuring out the final logistical details. We come to find out that the road access to Valle Nuevo from the North isn’t conducive for Chevy Geo Metros, or anything in that category. Tomorrow we step foot into our new jeep and plan to make the final jump up to our lodging quarters for the summer in Villa Pajon. Already we have met up with Robert Ortiz, Rosa Maria, Tomas Batista, Jose Guzman and several other Dominicans that have proved to be incredibly kind and helpful. Their friendship and hospitality towards two extranjeros is absolutely priceless and we can’t thank them enough. With a little luck, we’ll cross paths with Jesus Almonthe later this week whom has spent considerable time working with Golden Swallows in the past. We’re so close we can taste it! To the mountains tomorrow!
